About the artwork Stranded objects
These works show artificial floating debris that has already been slightly changed by water and weather. Since all finds are made of plastic, there are still indications of their original use. How much plasticwaste the environment can (still) tolerate is a question that is just as preoccupying as the fact that plastic has become an integral part of our society since its invention in 1870.
