About the artwork how to interpret a weather forecast _ big cloud
You need trust to have a truth. In this painting series I deal with the uncertain knowledge of weather, but also the facts out of science. Abstract landscape is my information for you, a work about climate and certainty. Whether it’s from your phone, your television screen, or on the radio, you can now get a weather forecast from more sources than ever. When I see a 50% chance of rain, what is that actually telling me? The atmosphere is governed by rather complicated processes, it can be expected that our knowledge of climate could change, could give us a way to live a better symbioses with our ecosystem. There are certain bits of information that you can get out of a forecast, but not every truth. This serial of paintings will lead you to a fantastic idea or a reminder of the beauty of harmony _ living in clouds and landscape.
