The idea of this series of works is to deal with the formal the formal language of geometric concrete art, but also with the spontaneous painterly gesture. The works each play with effects of Op-Art (Optical-Art) by folding and creasing the sheets along precisely defined lines and colour transitions to form paper reliefs. The three-dimensional design of these sheets of paper invites the viewer to change the perspective several times and to look at and explore the work from different sides.
