This work showcases international, man-made drift material that has been slightly transformed by exposure to the elements at the water’s edge.
However, since all the found objects are made of plastic, traces of their original human use remain visible. The question of how much plastic waste the environment can still tolerate concerns me just as much as the fact that, since its invention in 1870, plastic has become an indispensable part of our society.
