This painting is the second in a row of orchid paintings.
I bought this flower at a orchid convention in Vienna, with its deep red-purple, almost black flowers and fascinating leaves it is still one of my favorite orchids on my windowsill.

About the artist Isabel Mischka

Born in 1996 in Austria, Mischka graduated with distinction from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in 2019 and received the James & Eve Bennett Trust Fund Award. She is a fellow member of the Society of Botanical Artists, UK.
